Haunting Self

My Art

The Woman Colour Built
Solo Photography Exhibition

"I was built by colour - alive with wonder, steeped in curiosity, forever reaching toward big dreams.  I thrive in it, breathe in it, move through it.  Colour is my pulse, my compass, the rhythm through which I remember, find healing, and how I become visible to myself.  The Woman Colour Built is both a self-portrait and a color-portrait: an exploration of how the world has painted me, and how I, in turn, colour it back." - Leanne Trivett S.

I’m thrilled  to share my solo photography exhibition, The Woman Colour Built, of large-scale photographic self-portraits in which colour unfolds as a language of identity, emotion, and presence.   On view January 12–February 27, the exhibition warmly welcomes the public, local artists, and creatives to spend time with the work and encounter it in its full physical presence.  I’m deeply grateful to share this body of work in my hometown - an offering to the community that has shaped me, and an open invitation to gather, look closely, and explore colour.

Spotlight Feature in Black and White Magazine

Thank you Black and White Magazine and David Best for the Spotlight Feature and Interview!  I’m profoundly honored to have my series Navigating in Traffic  featured in Black & White Magazine Issue 177, April 2026.  Known for its discerning eye and devotion to the art of black and white photography, being chosen feels deeply humbling. Navigating in Traffic grew from a personal journey of moving through and beyond trauma - a quiet exploration of loss, resilience, and the fragile light that follows darkness.  I’m grateful to the magazine for holding my story and process with such care.  The issue is available to purchase now, and it brings me joy to share this intimate work with you.
