The Fearless and Bodacious Michael Clark

The work of Michael Clark is breathtaking and ever since I met him in October, I have been inspired by his desire for adventure and photography.  I went on a van road trip in Japan with Michael, George Nobechi, and few other photographers in October 2024 and what a journey!  Once we took the high speed train out of the bright lights of Tokyo, we found ourselves traveling through the magic of the Japanese landscape through Karuizawa, Matsumoto, the Kiso Valley, the beautiful Kamikochi National Park, and Takayama.  We shared delicious food, photographed local artisans and the magic of post towns, and even enjoyed local ice cream.  Michael's joy for culture and learning was contagious and inspired an unforgettable trip.  A BIG thank you to Michael and George for the memories and I am proud to call you my friends.
