My Visit to Scotland
"Flowers Revel in Emotion"

...and back to those Unicorns, Castles, and the land of delicious Curry. I spent a week with other photographers in the bustling metropolis of Glasgow. Specifically we explored the architecture of Charles Mackintosh and his wife, Margaret. Together they were creating artistic edifices and its interiors. On one afternoon we had High Tea at the Willow. It was glorious in all of its abstract artistry. And it is their work peaking into modern pop art culture.
I left feeling a renewed energy in my own abstract creations blurring the boundaries of real and imagined.
My belly was happy with Indian Butter Chicken, a Glaswegian delicacy. Savory. Creamy. And plenty of sauce to soak up with Naan bread.
My husband and I snuck away to St. Andrews for a weekend. He was curious about the Golf and what a getaway. If I ever do a Travel Book, the first will be the "Dogs of St. Andrews." We came across countless pooches running the beaches and along the famed course.
Thank you Scotland; thank you fellow photographers; and thank you to the many artists who are advancing the cause of the human experience.
